These sculptures are weird, to say the least. The faceless, giant-sized metal monks are probably meant to symbolise something important, inspiring and thought-worthy, but I didn't get it. They are rather cool though.

Three bronze monks, each standing at a height of 2.5 meters, can be found in the King of Denmark Garden. These monks are named Ambrosius, the Waiting Monk

Beautiful location to take a break from hiking the old town. Nice scenery, spooky statues, Neitsi tower right there and benches to relax on. Little hidden atrium by the cannon for a moment to yourself.One of my favorite spots in Tallinn Old Town

One of my most favorite places in Tallinn. The placement of the status is interesting, since one of them doesn't stand directly on the ground. They are all located at the platform with a view all over Tallinn.

I had to look up the history of the 3 Danish monks. I came across ghost stories about these monks. Not sure if true but they do give a peculiar vibe. Especially at night.
