McDonald's Viru

It is a McDonalds, so mostly modern, though not very clean. The building is quite cute and there’s even a terrace, but the inside is rather small, or actually rather narrow, so the touch screens where you order are very tight in space. Being in the old town, it gets very crowded, especially in the summer evenings- and there’s smoking and trash all over when you get outside. The wait corresponds, it takes a looong time.

McDonald's big advantage is the helpful workers.Best thing is when you have any complaints about the food they will always quickly replace it. The food is very good.Coffee is amazing, as are desserts. The staff works quickly and efficiently.

The experience was far from pleasant, and I must say that this particular branch did not meet the basic standards one would expect from a globally renowned fast-food chain.Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing that caught my attention was the state of the tables. Garbage was scattered all over, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. This immediately set a negative tone for the entire visit. When visiting a fast-food establishment, I expect a certain level of cleanliness and hygiene, especially in a location as significant as the viral gate of Old Town Tallinn, which is often the first impression visitors get of the area.The outside area was no better. The tables were messy and dirty, giving an unsightly appearance to what should be a prime location in the heart of the city. It's disappointing to see such a lack of care for the exterior of the restaurant, especially when it is situated in a prominent tourist area.What further exacerbated the situation was the apparent lack of staff on hand to maintain the cleanliness of the premises. Tables were left unattended, and there were no employees actively cleaning or tidying up the dining area. It felt as if the restaurant was understaffed or that the employees were not sufficiently trained to handle the volume of customers.In addition to the cleanliness issues, the overall dining experience was marred by slow service. The long queues and apparent disorganization behind the counter contributed to a frustrating wait for my order. It seemed like the staff was struggling to keep up with the demand, leading to an inefficient and subpar customer experience.Overall, my visit to McDonald's in the old town of Tallinn was deeply disappointing. The restaurant's unclean tables and messy exterior significantly detracted from the otherwise beautiful surroundings of Old Town Tallinn. Furthermore, the apparent lack of staff and slow service made the entire experience less enjoyable. As a result, I cannot recommend this particular McDonald's location to others, and I hope that they can address these issues to provide a better experience for future customers.

Ordering through screens was ok just i manage to get mine my colleague not, he ordered and paid and immediately out of service" = they were closing.He got his meal to eat inside

Very busy and crowded. Waited at least 30minutes. Self-service machines were not printing receipts.Nice and friendly staff, spoke good English.

We needed to wait for 30 minutes to get cold coffee (we ordered it hot). Employee almost did not wanted to make new. And I do not think that this is full fries. THE worst service ever.

Absolutely awesome cafe , cakes and decent baristas there . Polite, helpful and approachable staff.

What is happening here is simply called trash. All tables are occupied by youngsters who simply spend time in here. Toilets are not working properly. Orders are with huge delays and with mistakes. No invoice papers in terminals. Application offers not working. It is better to go anywhere else than this hell.

Nice and clean for a McDonald's but so slow, waited for ages for my food and it wasn't busy.

Good restaurant. A very popular place, a lot of customers, open area seats near the building with a great look. The staff speaks not only in the local language, but in Russia as well.
