Imaginary Hostel

This hostel is great for the common areas where you can meet with other people.For security it’s not the safest as the front door is always open, but at least room’s door are lockable with a key card. The only disappointment is the cleanliness, which is quite bad I would say. I stayed three days and it toilets were never cleaned, that’s just disgusting. If you can get over it you’ll enjoy your stay

I was supposed to sleep there for 2 nights but i woke up covered with bed bugs bites all over my body on the first night (18 bites). We told the reception that couldn’t do anything beside sending us to another hotel more expensive that we had to pay with our money. These bed bugs were probably here for a long time its a shame to offer a shelter for students/travellers and ending up treating them like this.

What an absolute disgraceI've been to many hostels but this was the worst one by far.I've rented a private room for three days but left early the next morning.Overall the hostel is very dirty and there is no heating and the room was very cold and damp. The curtains do not cover the whole window so people can look a bit inside.The shower doors do not close as both of them literally dismounted from the rails and the drain is clogged so you will be standing in other peoples hair while the rest of the bathroom gets wet.The toilets are also dirty and run down.Not to mention the kitchen.I've seen 3 drunk men in the hostel in less then an hour during day time and there was a junky next to my room who couldn't stand steady on his feet, lurking around the entrance begging for money and cigarettes and telling me how messed up he is. Although nothing happened he seemd a bit agressive.I'm a grown man and can defend myself if i have to but imagine how a female solo traveler must feel amongst guest like these.Overall my room looked like it was left in the soviet times which should be long over by now.Upon returning my key the next day the staff member did not even look at me, just took the key and continued looking at his screen.No thank youNo how was your stay?No goodby or any other wordStay away from this place and a pay few euros more for a decent one. This hostel is not worth any price.The only good thing is the location.

Good location. Next to supermarkets and coffee shops. Close to everything (ferry and train station). Price is good, though I'd fix the differences with booking. (unbelievably it's more expensive directly in hostel). Breakfast option could be good also, there is none. Showers and toilets are good and fairly clean. Beds are comfy and room is reasonably big (even has a couch).

Staff was friendly and location was nice, but rooms were incredibly dirty. There was so much dust on the floor that I don't think it's been cleaned in a very long time. There was someone's sock on the floor so clearly no one has even tried to clean it. Bedsheets also had some hairs in them. Mattress pretty bad quality, had some big holes in it. Only one lightbulb worked, no proper curtains to block out the sun. Really loud during night.Bathrooms were pretty dirty too and a lot of it broken down.All in all, not worth what we paid for it.

There were bed bugs in the room I was sleeping in, people got bitten and complained, but the hostel did not do anything. I am aware that bed bugs do not have to do anything with the hygiene of the place (anyway, the place was quite dirty), but even after repeatedly complaining they simply scheduled an “inspection” (did it even happen?) and didn’t change anything. I attach a picture of the bedbugs here, they were in the bed frames! This is really disrespectful towards the guests, who are put at risk of being bitten and carrying them back home.

Very good place but one minus: Many guests are communists who steal your food. Someone took my steak and drank my coffee.

The best hostel in Tallinn atmosphere wise. Many interesting young travellers who stay here, also the community room is open all night long, just as reception. You will have to prepare your bedsheets so on by yourself when you arrive. Also a towel is not inclusive and must be rented. I did not encounter any bed bugs.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hostel at all. the sanitary facilities are not clean and the rooms were dirty. the couch in our room, I don't want to know what happened on it. In addition, some rooms were infested with bed bugs. once and never again next time rather a little more expensive for less hassle. But the location is great in Tallinn.

Hard to access, especially with a suitcase. Got a room on the first floor, but bathrooms are only on the 2nd. Very annoying, especially during the night. The toilet cabins are very small, feels like you are in a dwarf village. And the shower was at a set temperature, you cannot change it.Kitchen was good and there is a nice living room area where people hang out. Location is good for visiting the old town
