Hestia Hotel Seaport

Amazing breakfast. Good location if you'll go for ferry next day or before.Advantage: Free open buffet breakfast, too many differences. There are certain numbers of towels and tissues in the bathroom. TV in the room.Disadvantage: There were hairs and dusts on the floor. The walls very tiny so you hear other guests. The heating was almost not working so it was cold for 0 degree in May 2. The windows are not strong enough to keep the air out.

Stayed one night in Tallinn and wanted to be close to the Terminal D for our ferry back to Helsinki.Hestia is a budget chain and the Seaport was just that, a low cost hotel. The rooms are small but there is enough space for two individuals. The bathroom was tiny and the open shower area is very cramped.The beds are thin mattress covers over a mattress kind of frame, not very comfortable with one very thin pillow and thin bed cover.Breakfast was actually very good. Hot dishes and breads with cereals and yogurts. The coffee was great and the breakfast services were excellent.It worked for one night.

A simple hotel just opposite the ferry D terminal. The rooms were OK and the breakfast was simple but there was something for everyone. 10 minutes walk to city centre. Very reasonable price.

If you have to check out early before breakfast time (7.00am) but you need some breakfast pack. You shoud ;1. Inform the hotel before 24 hr. they said that they will prepare for you.2. If you told them when you check in, the evening reception said they will provide you a coffee and panini in the morning. (Make sure that the reception forward this message to another ship because I cannot claim panini, the morning reception said she did not get any noted from the evening front.)

For travellers who like Scandinavian simplicity, hotel is suitable. When the site around will be completed to reconstruct, it will be a very good location, close to ferry terminals, busses, new interesting restaurants and shopping centers. My favourite evening walking was to go to Cruisers Promenada (in ~700-800 m) to see the Sunset with a glass of wine

The location is great for ferry passengers! Otherwise, the hotel is modest, the interior of the rooms is quite shabby and the sounds from other rooms could be heard clearly. Breakfast was ok; nothing special to mention. The price was quite cheap, but you can get nicer hotels in Tallinn for the same price.

Unfortunately has some key issues (for me anyway). Airconditioning is noisy, so you have to choose between cool and noisy or warm and stuffy. No bacon at breakfast, a deal braker for me. Very basic otherwise as well. Most of the things obviously come ready made and are just heated placed available. The sofa in our room also had several old stains in it, did not feel like sitting on it. But perhaps worst of all in our room toilet/shower every time we took a shower and the floor got wet it started to smell like old pee!? Like maybe it was in the floor tile seams or something. Happened every time. Disgusting. So sadly this hotel could be good but isnt. Room was good size and quiet (apart from aircon, and service was friendly.

Stayed here with my son on 8/28-29/2023. Room #212. Twin bed room. Room was clean and comfortable. The window opened. Wifi is good. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast has good variety. Location was perfect as we caught the ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. Ferry terminals are directly across the road. Also, close-by is a Rimi Hyper supermarket in the shopping mall. Only a 15 minute walk to the old town part of Tallinn. Price made this an excellent value.

Rooms were nice! Only thing was when you showered water spread well outside the shower area. And, there was no laundry service in the hotel. Otherwise the staff were very nice!!

The hotel is very good and located directly Infront of the port terminal that goes with the ferry to Finland and Sweden.The location from city center is not far 15-20 minutes walking.Currently there are some construction on the roads near this area so you may get confused while walking back but I am sure you will find your wayThe hotel offers a free breakfast with the room which o find it fair and tasty, they care about the quality here.The rooms are simple but fine for 2-3 nights.The only thing that I ask the hotel management to consider is putting a water cooker inside the rooms, maybe some of the hotel residents at night want to have a water or tea.In case if you arrive late from travel or you need to buy water or juice, go inside the terminal which located directly in front of the hotel and there you will find a Kiosk which lets you to make a self-payment machine and you can buy water/juice/other things.There is a parking in front of the hotel directly and mall 3-5 mins walk from there.
